Prof. Andrea L . Baldini, Peking University, China

Bio : Professor Andrea L . Baldini, is the Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor at Peking University, specializing in interdisciplinary research that bridges aesthetics, cultural studies, intellectual property law, and visual culture. His work explores how creativity can embed political and social value into everyday practices, with a particular emphasis on street art, graffiti, and public art.
He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the East Asian Journal of Philosophy (EAJP) and holds two doctoral degrees—one in Philosophy from Temple University and another in Text Sciences from the University of Siena. He is the author of three monographs, including A Philosophy Guide to Street Art and the Law (Brill), and has published widely in leading academic journals such as Philosophy Compass, Contemporary Aesthetics, Estetika, The Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism, and The Journal of Visual Culture.
Beyond his own scholarship, Professor Andrea L . Baldini, serves as a guest editor, scientific committee member, and editorial board member for several academic platforms, including the Bloomsbury History of Modern Aesthetics series. His contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Top Paper in Urban Communication Award from the National Communication Association (NCA) and the Nordev Prize from Temple University.
He has held visiting and research positions at several prestigious institutions, including as a Fulbright Fellow at Temple University, an International Exchange Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies of Nanjing University, and a Visiting Scholar at both the University of Padua and CIEBA – School of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon.

Bio : Thomas DuBois is a historian of modern China and professor in Beijing Normal University. He was trained at the University of Chicago and UCLA,and taught at universities in the United States, Singapore and Australia. He has spent about fifteen years in China, and conducted fieldwork from Hulunbuir to Dali. He has published seven monographs and over fifty articles and chapters. He broadcasts on  Rednote as 老食好.

He is a member of the Teaching and Advisory Committee for English Majors of the Ministry of Education, Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Language Development Research Committee of the China English-Chinese Comparative Research Association, Executive Director of the National American Literature Research Association, Communications Judge of the National Social Science Fund, Executive Director of the Provincial Translation Association, Academic Member of the Athens Institute of Education, and Editorial Board of ' Australian Studies '. More than 50 papers have been published, including 2 A & HCI retrievals and many CSSCI papers. He has published 1 monograph and more than 20 other works. He presided over 5 national projects, 1 humanities and social science project of the Ministry of Education, 4 provincial social science projects, and more than 20 other projects.

Bio : 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chew Fong Peng is the Chair for Hub of Language, Innovation and Teaching, Department of Language and Literacy Education, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya (UM). She is a multilingual lecturer and specializes in Malay Studies. She teaches the Malay language education, Chinese language education, and Early Childhood Education.

With over two decades of experience in the field, she has presented more than 170 academic papers at national and international conferences across Asia, Europe, and North America, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Greece, Japan, China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Her extensive scholarly contributions include over 150 journal articles, 9 authored books, 67 conference proceedings, 36 book chapters, 10 edited books, and 20 translated works, spanning both academic and creative domains. As a committed editor, she has served as book editor for Taylor & Francis and contributed to national textbook development, notably as editor for Malaysian Year 4–6 History textbooks and Year 1 Art and Music Education.

She has led or participated in 19 research projects, 8 of which she served as Principal Investigator. Her achievements have been recognized through numerous academic awards, including the University of Malaya Outstanding Service Award (2008), and multiple inclusions in Marquis Who's Who in the World (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017–2019). She was also honoured with the 2000 Intellectuals of the 21st Century Award (2011) and named The World Outstanding Researcher (2013).

In 2011–2012, she was appointed Visiting Professor at Peking University, China. She regularly reviews for internationally indexed journals such as Asia Pacific Education Researcher, Asia Pacific Journal of Education, SAGE Open, Educational Research and Reviews, British Journal of Education, Society & Behavioural Science, and International Journal of Psychology and Counselling, as well as Malaysia-based journals like Pertanika, GEMA Online, and Kemanusiaan.

A respected figure in both academic and cultural spheres, Dr. Chew is also known for her public recitations of Malay poetry at state and national events, reflecting her commitment to preserving linguistic heritage. She continues to contribute actively to scholarly research, postgraduate supervision, educational innovation, and international academic exchange.
